Meh i think the new one's better
A few things to note. Sivir's artwork here is borrowed and tweaked from her Chinese version's artwork. This is filler. There is an ongoing process to homogenize the artwork so that there isn't different splashes in different countries. Secondly, Sivir was a recently (3 years ago) updated champion, which means that she is on the list for updated splash arts to match her current skins' appearance. Her current splashes and the Chinese versions are from her original, pre-rework model. They are currently overhauling all splashes on reworked champs, and there were several before her, the first on Riot's list being Trundle, and probably followed by Karma, and then Heimerdinger. Sivir will get her splashes in time, but she'll have to wait until the older champs have had their remade first. So be patient for now, it's not going to be the splash you see forever.
Well, we all know Sivir is a master contortionist. Both bandit skins have twisted torsos to an extent and I'd argue that the old one is more so. Also, the old Bandit skin is the only splash for Sivir that had her holding her weapon in the wrong hand.
So as far as Sivir skin unification goes... Bandit is a good change.
The alternate Pax looks cleaned up, but the overall pose is a downgrade. I feel sorry for the people that actually have that rare skin.
Spectacular looks cleaned up with the same pose, so that's good.
Warrior princess is... well... I have no idea. She looks so young. Such a startling difference that I don't quite know where to start to compare new to old. I hated the ugly Warrior Princess splash, but this alternate doesn't really seem like Sivir to me. So... its a 520 skin.
Huntress looks equally bad so I guess the alternate isn't a bad change since it seems more focused on Sivir instead of her weapon.
Overall... I feel that Sivir is getting a good update here excluding the PAX skin.
At least is not the new Diana skin... fucking boobplates.
Well, it'll change, probably before 2 years. Splash art tends to change out a lot faster than character models, so hold out hope.

The skin is not changing to look like the artwork. The artwork is just filler. You see her model in game more than you'll see that splash.
