I disagree that gameplay doesn't matter. There are characters that I like artistically, but when a character's aesthetics and personality are in harmony with their gameplay feel, that adds another level of enjoyment for me. Personally such champions are:
He is an arrogant, bishonen jerk that is constantly on the move and annoys those he has exchanges with: His art design is pretty bland and it follows his theme as a charismatic yet self-centered explorer. His gameplay is also in line with his identity, since he is skill based, slippery, and there's nothing more annoying than an IBG Ez
Basically the champion that best represents Shurima and his design drawing inspiration from the god Horus is a great design choice considering the general Egyptian inspiration for Shurima. On top of that, his gameplay perfectly simulates the feeling of being a powerful commanding presence that also dives into action when needed.

I am pitting them together because they are such successful designs that follow similar paths: They both sell the feeling of being a predator each in their own way, one by ambushing you, luring you in and finishing you off, the other by sniffing you out and running you down relentlessly.
