So, when did Taric join in with Mt Targon?

I don't mind if he becomes one with the place, but Riot has yet to even put him there... or even say he's going there. I say, we put it to a vote.

Where is Fabulous?

Since he's always fabulous, I didn't think it was needed. But, sadly, I don't know if we are able to add more to the question after posting it. :'( I didn't want to disappoint someone.

Poppy's Targonian joke kinda confirms it.

It's mostly speculated because Poppy has a joke that involves a Targonian and gems, not to mention that we know we get some targon lore and the taric rework this year.

And while Taric wouldn't fit the rakkor tribe I guess he would actually fit into the solari society since they are actually a usually peaceful group(even if its elders were corrupt). Alternatively there might be even more groups on Mt.Targon.

He's the next man to get a rework anyways.

He's the next "man" to get a rework anyways.

Since Taric's lore was "magical gem dude from an entirely different world just randomly decides to stay here" I don't think him moving to Mt. Targon is a bad idea. Gives him an actual home and actual reason to care about things that happen in Runeterra.

It was lacking in execution, but I kind of liked the potential of that background, actually.

I liked the thought that Taric was such an all-around good guy that, separated from his homeland with no foreseeable means to return, he falls right into the role of a protector of whatever people are within his grasp. We've got mystical guardians of inscrutable prupose and plenty of nation-state heroes fighting for the benefit of their particular people, but we don't really have much in the ways of that simple pure-hearted unaligned hero in League.

It's not a trope that sits well to overuse, sure. There's only really Braum that is closely identifiable as such though, and I do adore him, but I think there would have been room there for Taric as a kind of benevolent stranger.
