Ninjas, Hanzo Hatori and his constant appearance in games

So most of you may know who Hanzo is by now, but for those who don't Hanzo is by far the worlds most famous and well known ninja who actually existed. Hanzo was a japanese man born around the year of 1542 and died in 1596. To be honest little is known about Hanzos actual life as a ninja but we know more of his works as a samurai and for most famously being the right hand man of lord Tokugawa Ieyasu and the times he saved both his lord and his lords daughters. However Hanzo must of been a pretty scary dude for his nick name "oni Hanzo" literally translates into demon hanzo. But one thing we do know about Hanzo is that game designers, lore writers, and story developers through all kinds of platforms have a clear respect for his legacy. We see this in games like.

So that being said I really am curious does riot ever plan to take a crack and show their own depiction of this famous man, or are they satisfied with Zed being the big bad ninja of the block?

What about my fellow league players, would you guys have any interest in seeing "leagues hanzo"?

Game already has 4 ninjas and a samurai (and Hanzo was both).

I'd rather see some other equally awesome culture get some recognition. The Mongols, knights, landsknecht, the winged hussars, Romans, Aztec, Janissaries, cataphracts,

There is so much badass in the world. It's disappointing that we keep going back to the same well.

personally i prefer we would get an actual knight like a full on medievel british full plated armor knight, and not some final fantasy mega sword bs. Personally I would love that. just what made me ask this question was my recent watching of naruto.

Also wondering if you even read my post, for i clearly stated in the entire process that hanzo was both.

Yeah, I did. That's part of why I added both ninja and samurai. It was supposed to be tacit agreement with you. But it's late, might not have come out right.

Never watched Naruto myself. All I know about it is the guy apparently has cat whiskers and says "believe it" with some frequency.

Sall good, just eventually the episode plays a very good tribute to Hanzo, it's just a thing most games and action series do, where if you have ninjas in your game or story, you eventually make a tribute to Hanzo. It's kinda like how everyone acknowledges Dracula as the ultimate vampire and how every vampire story has some type of tribute to dracula.

So it peeked my curiosity if we should ever expect a hanzo tribute.
