It's in really bad shape, not as bad as other champions, but it's just really not as nice as his splash art at all. He also looks really nothing like any other void monsters. The only similarity is mabye his carapace and Vel'Koz's carapace. So, when he finally is up for a visual update, will Riot make big changes to him? As in, fit him in with what looks to be the new current identity for void monsters. (Purpleish).
I actually quite like him primarily pale with only a hint of purple beneath the carapace. Kog'Maw reminds me of larval crustaceans, so I think his color scheme is quite fitting the way it is.
Cho'Gath is Red, Rek'Sai is primarily blue, Kha'Zix is the only one whose wholly purple, and then he can turn orange.
Kog'Maw really only needs a texture update.
I hope they don't make him too purple. Purple is already the most common colour among champs and making basically everyone from the void purple in some way is a bit overkill in my opinion,so I think it'd be actually better if they moved away from all that purple a bit.
