Splash tutorial
I know there are some youtube videos of making splash art.
But would Riot consider making more of a splash art tutorial? Something not just for wonder but even for study?

Hmmm that's not a splash art tutorial (anway I don't think you can specifically do a "splash art" tutorial since the style is pretty common -- you could find tons of tutorials applicable to splash arts) but I know Trevor Claxton (who designed Lissandra, idk what he did for Riot besides that) did a demo for Wacom for rendering gold materials, on a Nasus portrait: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQjBFd9WlM4
But that's pretty "light" compared to what you're asking for. Sorry i can't help more!
I second this. Trying to get back into drawing and I'd like to see how a professional creates something like a splash art from start to finish.
They told us a few months (years?) ago about why they halted the Champion Art Spotlight videos! Back then, it would usually be a single artist working on one splash art. With the expansion of the art team, it's more of a collective collaboration of back and forth feedback between artists and their directors. So recording that would be very difficult and making it look nice and smooth.
There are a few Riot artists that have put up tutorials. Zeronis has a small sketch tutorial on a site called Gumroad if you're interested. It's a few bucks though. Worth it imo!
