Now I am really mad.

That splash art was one of the best I ever saw. And because some "i wanna korean ahri splash" whiners it is now gone. So thank you.

I think the classic one is fine, it displays her sex appeal to acceptable levels (for who she is) and also shows off her true natural (magical?) beauty.

The new one made her look a bit too playful which is fine, but we barely saw her outfit. Her old pose is way more elegant too.

The original is better in all areas except the fact that it's not HD like the newer splashes. Thank you very much for listening to us Riot, you do care. I thought this was going to be like the Vayne splash and have it end up going out anyway.

Kayle splash is almost a direct upgrade unlike Ahri's splash. The only realy problem is the gigantic boob plate. If they'd reduce he size, it'd be perfect.

I admit, every time, the splash art is VERY WELL DRAWN. But a WELL DRAWN splash art that doesn't fit Kayle. The ult is liquid gold - it's supposed to be celestial light. I don't like artistic freedom when it shows something entirely wrong about the character.

I also dislike her pose. People say it's just her ingame pose, but I mained Kayle for months before her nerf, for weeks before getting Aether Wing, and I've used Riot a bit.

It's not her ingame pose. If it was closer, she wouldn't have her feet pointed down weirdly. Her chest would not be thrust up and herself lookingg down.

It's amazing artwork.

It's a horrible representation of Kayle.

I didn't talk of the artwork's quality anywhere. If that were the case, I wouldn't have said what I said about Ahri's new artwork. Ahri's old artwork represented her perfectly.

The new one, while it does it alright, wasn't as good as the original.

Kayle on the other hand is represented well imo. I may not main her, but I've used her many times on my old account, so I'm familiar with her.

The thing is, her ult doesn't look like celestial light. light would be something like Lux's shield. It would be shining OUTWARDS and not have streaming gold down towards the body. This is why it's more than likely liquid gold and not simply a light barrier.

She is not simply in her in-game pose. She is in the pose that resembles her namesake, the judicator. She is clearly in the midst of battle with the skies being dark and her using her ultimate. She is brining justice down upon those who have wronged and the pose is meant to look down upon those who have done so.

Good to see a few people who were acting like spoiled children who didn't get exactly what they wanted ruin a good thing. An artist put time into that and people just crapped all over it. They got an updated look to a champion and because people thought it wasn't their "Ahri" it was wrong. Despite it not being their character.

Don't celebrate too early about the splash reversion. If they aren't editing the splash they took down, Ahri may fall into the dangerous position where no one wants to touch her. If you think that's good, see Cassio and Poppy for possible results. (E.g. the person who works on her eventually rushes it and does not care what you have to say or they put Ahri in a position where they don't have to deal with her ever.)

I wonder if there was an uproar in Korea and China about Ahri's westernized face. She is based on a Korean mythology figure, so I can only imagine the Koreans study every new skin and splash of hers with the most scrutinizing eye.

I'm sure the out cry would be the same if Ashe new splash had her look Brazilian all of a sudden.

This game is already incredibly "white" So many blue eyes with white facial look. No need to turn Ahri who was one of the rare asian looking champs into a white one.

It's not just the facial feature also... everything about the art doesn't fit.

It's not. :( The new one has almost all of the problems that Ahri's had. It changes her face completely and all of my IRL friends think it's a downgrade.

The problem with ahri is that she "should" look korean because she was released with opening of korean servers. That is the ahri problem. That is what people are whining about.

Janna's face has no conditions for how it should look.

I don't know if most people have little of feeling for art but neither Ahri nor Janna CANNOT be taken as downgrade.

Yes you can dissagre with composition but both splash arts are much more better made then the current ones.

You should replace all your IRL friends with sack of potatoes if none of them cannot see the qualitty of art.

Janna's splash art transmits this windy feeling. You can taste and smell the air like you were there. The lighting is great and the body is nearly living. You cannot say anything about the old splash art.

Same applies for Ahri. It also induces some emotion, feeling inside you. While old splash art is motion less, dull picture of a lady who does not know how to do her make up.

The face changed, and that is a problem. Cassiopeia's splash change was bad because it changed her face. Janna and Ahri's new splashes are bad for the same reason.
Janna's body type got changed, too. She now looks to be at least 15 cm taller. I'd like for female champions to stay away from the tall supermodel body type, kthxplz.
Janna's current splash transmits the windy feeling much better imo. She also has a less bored facial expression.
Janna's body doesn't appear "living" as much as "ow her spine is broken".
Resolution doesn't matter much beyond a certain point. I feel that Janna's splash art is already of a good enough resolution.

While old splash art is motion less, dull picture of a lady who does not know how to do her make up.

That is a near perfect description of Janna's new splash art.

meh the new splash art was fine the only problem i really had with it was the fact that the tails looked really bad. No offense but those tails looked short and just all round bad i much preferred the original tails where it didnt look like a bunch of feathers glued together

Ok so I am still confused, I tought the new bad splash art is a planed one not an alraedy implemented than reverted one, Which makes the qestion in me, will they do a better one or the original stays?

And I can only cry whan I see peaple aceept and want this Europin babe face thing as Ahri the nite-tails soul eating leaving danger, actualy the most problame I have on the new art the puffy hair the no Asian facial marks, the dead coloures and those small horns those replaced her ears (even the original art had a mistake with ears appearance in my opinin, they seemed not realy groving out from her head).

And Janna: She realy deservs a beter art too, or not changes from the last one befor tish new one ( nactualy I dont even see why Janna and Ezreal needed a new and bad art, while theyr art were realy mach to teir voce in the game and were realy good resoluton one. -This new Janna just terible: manly looks face, thin ribonchase, trimmed breast, dead coloures, over med backlight and un needed glows from the staff in her head, -(at the last art she was a mature Elfe looked like, in the new she looks like a mature hermaphrodita elfe now -.-" )- The new Ez, damn again dead cloures, and why that such long big face, with big jaw?! Ez a young boy isnt he, his voice realy give the expresion of that.
