GreenLore5 votesBecause from an artistic standpoint the chinese splash art looks better. It is much more detailed than the current one(and I have to say that the current one looks kinda bland).
Also don't misunderstand this,they are merely exchanging our splash art for the chinese one,so the "new" one isn't really new. So,when Eve finally gets her VU,she'll likely receive new skin splash arts as well.

The Chinese one at least has some definition in the background and distinct visual elements, even if they also don't really help understand what the skin is supposed to be.
Also, this skin, just like Evelynn's base skin and Shadow skin, falls somewhere between lingerie and bondage gear. If you don't want the skin to be sexy then you've got a lot more work to do than just keeping the existing splash art.
