His different colored skins better change effects riot! It'd honestly be a shame if they don't. It was kind of disappointing when at least blacksmith poppy didn't have fire on her q or just something. I mean blood stone has amazing potential for just blood red ruby looking spells, armor of the fifth age beautiful sapphire spells, and stunning emerald green abilities for emerald Taric.
I truly hope you didn't skip out on the opportunity.

GreenLore1 votesWell they did add unique VO lines to Pentakill karthus and Heimerdinger did receive unique turrets for each of his skins.
But then again,those aren't exactly particle effects,so I guess you are right about those.
MisterHealYoGirl1 votesTurrets (and other minion changes) are included in model changes; Annie's skins get a new Tibbers, and so on. Pentakill Karthus was actually the center of a big controversy, since it has new VO lines but wasn't placed in that tier. I doubt they'd introduce something like that again. The only thing that I can think of is that the Poppy update's ultimate has the right-shaped hammer for the skin; again, I might place that under models, though.

Chase Me Daddy1 votesWell the first problem is: all his skins will be/are reimagined. So they don't just feel like "Green, Red and Pink" Taric. Second: we don''t really what the does at the moment, so we can't really say if new (only particles for his classic skin i mean here) particles are needed. However i could expect that something similiar like bloodstone atm has (red glow on ultimate) to come with his relaunch.
Just and see how it goes, his reveal not far away anymore.
