To Illaoi, Aurelion Sol says he's, "seen the main act."

He may exaggerate his strength relative to the game itself, but none of his lines are outright lies (except his slight contradiction between saying all things appreciate in value and that some things are better with age).

So I believe he actually has seen Nagakabouros. That it's no more a "God" to be worshiped than he is. Albeit his lore does say he's been worshiped as a god. But Nagakabouros must be another cosmic entity with power on par with Sol or Bard.

I'd like to see something official for what Nagakabouros actually is, and what Illaoi's totem actually is.

Well Aurelion was created alongside the universe and if Nagakaborous is really the goddess of life,then it would be reasonable that Aurelion was actually made by her directly.

Alternatively she might really be something different(maybe even one of Aurelions siblings?) and is merely worshipped as a god.

I like to think that in the beginning, an undetermined amount of powerful beings were created, each with their polar opposite.

Aurelion Sol, and his goal to bring light into the universe, directly conflicting with, what I believe is the Dark Star, or the Void, an entity who aims to snuff out all light.

Bard, and his (its?) goal to keep the universe from tearing itself apart, directly conflicting with something. I dunno about Bard though, he's just weird. I think he has a purpose, but's just beyond us.

And Nagakaborous, with his/her goal to bring life into the universe, directly conflicting with something else (maybe Kindred, unlikely) to bring death to all.

Space Cthulhu is definitely an option or some other lovecraftian horror. I like the flavor of her religion and I like how she presents herself as the priestess of this divine entity. Aurelion Sol probably in all of his cosmic adventures might have stumbled upon Nagakabouros but like all things he considers this "god" to be beneath him in scope and majesty. Mostly thought he just loves throwing shade at everyones beliefs

His lines towards Illaoi aren't insulting to Nagakabouros though. Both lines suggest that Illaoi has no idea what Naga is, and is worshiping her blindly. The one I mentioned is actually praise of Naga.

I think when Rioters said not even Aurelion Sol is on his level (Nagakabouros), they did not mean power level. And I don't think he is a cosmic being either.
