I prefer the new one to be honest, never really liked the old one, a big reason why i never really wanted that skin
The old one definitely needed an update but goddamn that new one is too animuu and shit. Doesn't fit Annie's theme at all.
I actually like the new splash art better in this case, but it doesn't really look like Annie.
The real problem is that there's no consistency with the art. Are they going for a manga style or are they going for what the champion actually looks like? The new are is shit but since Tencent owns riot that's what we get now.

Original skin has personality suitable to Annie when she's throwing a fit. The second skin has no personality other than generic Disneyish non-offensive everyone 'loves cute wittle girls' dumb empty look on the face.
i liked the original cause who wouldnt be pissed walking in what looks to be middle of forest next to a bear that emits frozen aura 24/7 lol
i think im one of the few that prefer many of the chinese/overseas splash arts instead of the american one........ and annie's are especially spectacular. also what people dont understand is many of the current artwork changes are the artwork MOST THE REST OF THE WORLD GET. no seriously its true america and some places in europe get what we currently have everyone else has gotten and did get what they are switching in currently........with the exception of most the karthus stuff (darned chinese and their bones taboo) [slayer-jinx-wink]
why nobody likes the cartoon style, i think it looks pretty good, but the only bad thing is that it don't fit the character.
To be honest, After seeing this skin. I just wondered myself "do they really need to change that?". Don't get me wrong, they looks good and I like anime too. But in LOL, the art style doesn't fit the game. I check others with Sivir and Soraka skin, they still look good before the change. [zombie-brand-clap]
