@RiotJaredan can we talk about Yordles??
A lot if our Yordle friends have very big characters.
Teemo's very heroic and stalwart
Tristana is quite gung-ho
Rumble is a hothead with an ego the size of his mech
Heimerdinger oozes knowledge and confidence in what he can offer
Corki's a daredevil with a mouth
Ziggs is a free spirit that knows what he wants
Lulu is out-there-crazy
Veigar is the epitome of evil (I wonder how the lore will handle him without making him out to be the caricature that he is)
Kled is the Yosemite Sam of League
Poppy is just all attitude and an overplay of the dense theme
Gnar is a walking powder keg, he seems quite flat aside from that facet of himself
Kennen is the most reserved of these characters but he still exudes a sense of danger
Amumu, I am not even sure if he is a Yordle
What I want to say is: Yordles as they are now, all have very strong characters. It would be nice to see Yordles that would bwhave predictably around creatures bigger than them.
What I would really like to see is a Yordle who knows his stnding in his world: Small, Weak, Scared. These traits shouldn't define this character though, but he/she must always show a level pf meekness not shown by other Yordles.
One big thing that puts me off about Yordles is how they all immediately come off as being equally impressive as their League peers. A lot of people I think can roll their eyes after seeing Rumble for example.
We need a Yordle that tugs on the current "Fun but grim" tone that the entire League lore gives off. Gone arw the days when Veigar's schemes are thwarted by Teemo (Those just don't fit with the current lore trend now). If you still choose to do that, it can leave Bandle City at too much of a diaconnect from the rest of Runeterra. Hope we get a Yordle who can bridge the gap between the fun little people and the big scary world.
Cheers
