When casts Grand Skyfall, please make him do a running jump as he channels (like how some champs move away from their position when they are dancing). Also, please make the landing visually satisfying with dust particles and a small crater where he lands.

As for his spears I also envision them to be mystical in origin as per his lore and thought up of a reason why he can chuck them infinitely without picking them up: He has something that works like Sivir's weapon that generates his spears.

Lastly, please keep the rugged look of the Aegis of Zenonia since it has been passed down for a very long time. I think he is really worlds apart from the armor them that Diana and Leona have going on so more elaborate embellishments here and there would be great but not giving up the obvious Spartan appeal that he has as a core.

Being that Mt. Targon has worship of both the Sun and Moon, it would be neat if Pantheon's Grand Skyfall imitated an eclipse as he's landing.

Singed texture update was actually really nice and well done. Sure, he could do with some more animations and voiceover, but right now he's pretty pleasant to the eye i'd say.

Singed actually got a really good (smaller-scale) VU, and Yorick is next in line on the list of huge updates. Galio and Urgot are somewhere high up on that "huge updates" list as well. :P

that's not how it works. he has infinite spears because it's a game. Same way gragas has infinite barrels and draven has infinite axes even if he drops them, or infinite nidalee spears as well. normally I would imagine draven going to manually pick up his axes that didn't return, sivir's weapon is based on a boomerang-like design and also based off of the ever-famous Xena weapon that ricochets off of things when thrown as she is skilled enough to throw it with a pre-determined path in her head that will eventually make it bounce back to get for her to catch.I would imagine that normally pantheon throws his spear like his Q only when he's certain that he will get the kill (he' so sure that's why he deals bonus damage on low hp enemies) and then simply picks it up off their dead body, or from wherever it got stuck on if he missed.

normally you'd buff the damage if it were to go from a targeted, guaranteed hit ability to a skillshot thrown one because a skillshot can miss or even be interrupted by minions, but a targeted ability will seek out and hit the target for guaranteed damage (with some exceptions like fizz troll pole, zhonyas, etc.)

for the amount of "turn everything into a skillshot" going around league, i'm amazed panth spears are still targeted. they look and feel like they should be a skillshot, yet he wasn't the first champion they did this to?

65 / 105 / 145 / 185 / 225 (+ 140% bonus AD)

Not to mention, it can crit, and it IS affected by item 3031

They would have to buff the damage or add some kind of effect into it. Pantheon in-lane power is all about spaming q's.

When hitting an enemy below 15% health with your auto attack or Q, it's an automatic crit.

Instead of 65 / 105 / 145 / 185 / 225 (+ 140% bonus AD)

You get 130 / 210 / 290 / 370 / 450 (+ 280% bonus AD)

And this is not even counting if you pick up an Infinity Edge.

Picking ie on panth is pointless, unless you are way ahead, but that's not the subject. If they are going to turn his q into linear skillshot, that would gut top lane pantheon, because he wouldn't be able to trade in minion waves.

When you absolutely, positively HAVE to KILL THAT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Admittedly it's cheese, but on assassin-esque bruiser Pantheon, it actually provides a lot of threat potential. Basically with IE, any opponent around you at low health is dead, even tanks need to sweat at that point.

why do people seem to assume that? nidalee's spear is 1500 range, with most skillshots being 1000 range. it would be more like Ezreal Q, Urgot Q, DrMundo cleaver, Kennen Q (1050 range) or even shorter range. there are plenty of skillshots in the 800-900s range too.

spear + skillshot != Nidalee

Pantheon spears do not deal double damage when they crit, they deal 1.5x damage, and are not affected by item 3031 . at <15%HP the damage is 97.5/157.5/217.5/277.5/337 (+210% Bonus AD)

additionally, his spears can only crit if the target is <15%HP, whereas Nidalee spears can chunk targets of any health amount, so the only time the spears do huge damage is when they would've either killed the enemy anyways, or left them with a sliver of health, meaning the additional damage is realistically much smaller.

Sorry, couldn't reply right away, had to have some time off to test out what you said and tbh, you're wrong on both points.

I just went into a custom and tested on melee minions.

lvl 10 with max Q

Non crit Q was 352 Crit Q without IE was 701 (Nearly double) Crit Q with IE was 875 (Nearly 2.5)

Obviously Ar on the melee minion had to be taken into account.

Though I do applaud you for stepping up.

I will admit that the comparison to Nidalee is a bit of a stretch, but if his Q was ever made into a skill shot, you would see cheese builds built around his Q popping up and no one wants that, no one at all.

I'm wondering if they might try to give him a mechanic similar to Olaf's axe throw. I have no illusions they'll keep his Q targeted, reworks are intended to make the game healthier/update a champ's kit to make them healthier, and Ryze's targeted spam harass move was changed as well.

I just hope when they do, they don't change his spear sounds too much. I kind of hate how they're taking all of the "punchy" sounds out for more of a "woosh" effect. (See Gangplank's Q)

I doubt they'd give a "running start" to his ult, since it would mess things up for enemies wanting to target him and interrupt his ult. Some updated FX for the ult would be cool though.

In terms of characterization, what would you guys want to see? Personally, I like the attitude of the "Spartan from the 300 movie" he has going on; yeah it's a bit shallow, but that could be made into character depth. After all, presenting cocky attitudes and fearless quips in the face of the enemy was what the actual Spartans did. I'd also like to see some VO lines that give more insight into his character beyond the quips and boasts, though.
