Veigar doesn't fit at all with the Omega Squad style.
Fizz doesn't fit either, and he gets new skins too often.
But my biggest complain is: Why Ziggs is not getting an Omega Squad skin? His four skills are bombs, his autoattacks are bombs... he fits the "crazy war veteran" trope as much as Teemo.
I don't think they're bad choices but no heimer seems like a missed opportunity.
veigar's actually using a laser designator to bomb you, makes enough sense to me. not sure how fizz doesn't fit
Personally tris is my biggest gripe. She already has a modern military skin. I would liked to keep it yordles too so rumble/kled/ ziggs/ corki woulda been the best contenders imo.
The reason Twitch is a good pick for this skin line up because of Riot's modern art direction, they wanted to spice up the exterminator scraped skin and make it part of the omega squad.
Honestly when Omega Teemo came out I thought it was in the skin league of Special Ops Gangplank.
Ziggs should have a omega skin to.
I'm taking a wild guess that Riot found ziggs to be an easy or boring pick and Riot wanted to be more creative i guess... Don't shoot me up on this theory.
I'm only going to buy the Twitch one since I don't spend that much money on RP anymore I have tons of skins for fizz, tristana and veigar already.
But twitch and jinx are the only adcs I like playing (More of a support guy).
I do think that Fizz and Veigar fit the skin line rather well.
Fizz is basically our marine soldier and Veigar is the seargent who summons an electric fence and drops air strikes(and turning his rod into a gun is actually a cool idea).
Ziggs would have also fit the skin line,but I feel like there wouldn't have been such a big change for him,because he does already use bombs for everything,the only change would have been that you switch his bombs for differently desgined bombs,which is rather lame.
I think just fits the theme with marines and they wanted to use sonar on his ult.
Fits it really well with stealth and they wanted to use the biohazard on his E.
I think it's time for a new skin but they definitely wanted to use his W for the missile lock on sign.
I think she just needs a new skin and she is a soldier
I think it's OK but they missed a lot of chances but maybe they're working on other ones but don't want to release more than 4 at a time.
I'm actually frustrated that omega squad tristana is a thing.
Especially since it was a confirmed thing that she died before teemo joined the omega squad. Lore wise the skin just doesn't fit.
I LOVE the actual choice instead.
They all cover different roles, and make them different enough.
perhaps this is why Ziggs did not get any cover while Veigar did, it would have been redundant. Also a weapon-maddened Veigar is awesome. A capless, weapon-maddened veigar with something resembling facial animation.

I'm a tristana main and even I'm confused? Why did Tristana get this skin? It is completely boring. They slapped the first google images "war beret" on her and gave her a green slime gun...? What about Ziggs? What about Kled? She literally just got a skin. The omega lore doesn't fit. I just don't think she even personality wise fits this at all tbh.
Also Heimer was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT, yet he gets dick as per usual, more skins for cancer fish who isnt even a yordle. Genius !!!
Veigar's last skin was in 2014. So he totally needed something new and different. His electric fence is an awesome spell effect and I think it fits the theme great.
I don't mind the chosen champions honestly, but it's neat how their splashes are all photos with tears on them. Teemo is basically looking back on his comerades before they died as he is still the only omega squad member left alive.
I love all the skins. I think Riot could have chosen different champions but in the end it doesn't really matter. I had to fall to lose it all...
I will admit that some of the choices are a bit strange. Veigar never reeally came to mind as a candidate for this series when you hear Omega Squad and so to see him in this line now is really odd, Tristana's skin is very close to her Guerrilla skin, & Fizz pretty much gets a new skin every year (because popular champ = more money for Riot). As well, they completely missed opportunities for say Kled and Ziggs to be in as part of the line as they feel much more fitted to the series.
HOWEVER you can't deny that they do make the skins work. Veigar using a little remote controller for spawning his gate and directing missiles is a perfect way of making him into the series (somehow). Tristana still feels distinct from Guerrilla with the gun, beret, target finder and even a little crazy eye from what I could tell. And Twitch is practically made for this series, you cannot deny that.
Could there have been better candidates for the Omega Squad series? Absolutely, but let's face it. It's Riot. They're the ones that make the decisions and know that the more popular champs will sell more skins and make more of a profit to them. But at the same time it's not out of the question that they'll add more to the Omega Squad series in the future so maybe we will get Omega Ziggs and Kled.

I agree with Veigar not fitting. That was a strange decision. I guess since his W drops a bomb, it fits...? No, I can't even see THAT.
Fizz not fitting is up for debate. I think he does since he can be a stealthy and elusive little fish, but that's my take.

I really dislike Tristana's lack of a helmet. She could of looked so badass. Instead they made her cutesy like usual. Not too mention it wouldn't of been a copy of Guerilla had they gone that direction.
i love the choices they made and hope Ziggs gets one next time i want every yordel to get an omega squad skin
