Why Doesn't Kog'Maw Revolve Around Eating Things?
His lore and lines are all about his hunger but none of his abilities even remotely reflect this.

Its because Kog'maw can't swallow solid things. He's like some sort of insects,he sprays acid over his victims to liquify them,so that the he can drink them.
Also all of the void beings are about consuming the enemy to some extent(yes even Vel'koz,since he destroys his victims when he analyzes them),yet the only ones with biting attacks are cho'gath and Rek'sai.
Much like the spider or common house fly, Kog'Maw digests his food externally with powerful acid before ingesting its liquefied remains.
Giving him a new Innate that grants some sort of health stealing against enemy champions would fix that problem, but that's more of a gameplay thing.
