Just thought it would be fun to see some of the old looks on champions, though Sion would look very odd with his old champion visuals prior to his rework stretched over his current model...
Well it wouldn't fit with the new models and honestly would look pretty irritating for newer players.
They tried this with Traditional skins, but then decided against it. It was only relevant for champs like Trundle and Karma who got such an extensive change to their character and appearance, and not so much for champs like Twitch and Sejuani, who really didn't get that much of a change. Since Riot has vowed not to overhaul champs in the Trundle sense ever again, that's why Traditional skins were discontinued.
Its simple: The animations of the old models do not fit the new skills of the champion.
I think riot could atleast do more traditional skins, like sejuani or trundle. I personally would really like to see old galio design on the new model
