Been maining him since he was released. I have to say i don't hate the new lore, i just liked the old one better, a man that chose duty over love now pays the price of his choice seemed to me a bit more interesting than the new one.
I know it's been said, but i kinda felt that i needed to express my opinion, but on to more important matters....
NO NEW VOICE LINES!?
Their talking about giving them new vo in the furture, but vgu takes priority in terms of resources. So I doubt we'll be seeing those new vo anytime soon.
Orianna is still patiently sitting in the corner for months already now, waiting for her soulless machine VO to get changed. I don't know if things changed, but I remember Rioter stating that they aren't doing small-scale VU/VO anymore due to not being as well received as full VGUs.
But unlike Varus Orianna's story actually was an improvement. So I'd like for Varus' old voice to stay as a remnant of a much better character (and that way we can disregard this cesspool of a new lore while playing him, since he simply isn't a character depicted there).
