No other champion being LGBT person would break stereotypes more. The society needs him to be gay, just like it needs Cap America to be.

Please don't ruin fiction with politics.
If you want a gay character, go make one up. Don't arbitrarily rework beloved franchises so that they better reflect your politics. That's just a good way to piss off the fan base and wreck shit.
Yeah, that'll stop these insecure kids from maining the guy. Two birds with one stone.
I think Zed is the supreme cancer created so Riot can make dirty money off the worst type of people and I support everything that will make these people take a look at themselves and rethink their lives.
That said.
Zed is already a major gay icon.
The amound of Zed x Shen fanart is insane. It's good art, too.
I mean, judging by the stories of their youth, it's not unlikely.
I'm so confused as to why this even matters. Being a homosexual myself has zero relation to LoL. This is a game about killing, not a romantic relationship dating game?
Gay for the sake of being gay is simply bad story telling. People (mainly tumblr) focus too much on sexuality and romance now a days. I don't give a shit if Zed is gay, but honestly if tumblr had taught me anything is that the people who want this are usually confuse yaoi fam girls that can't write anything half decent.
See, this topic confuses me. Why does he need to be gay? It'd be cool if he was gay, just like it'd be cool if he was straight, or bi, or pan or A, but what's the necessity? Just because we're lacking someone who is of that persuasion? Wouldn't it be better to have a character written as gay because there's something worthwhile that can be explored with said character through that, like an actual relationship with depth and meaning, rather than just making him gay for the sake of it?
League's a game where romance only ever is described for champions where it actually influenced their character and history. That romance had meaning to it. If Zed ends up having a romantic relationship with a man, then great, but really that should mean something for both him and his boyfriend, and not just be tacked on for the sake of ticking a box.
I might just not be understanding your message here Mr/Mrs/Miss/Mstr/However you identify BigBadBadger, but it feels like you're just saying Zed should be gay without giving a good reason behind it, and you'd just rather he actually be gay, where as I'm here thinking that such a way of thinking isn't great because having a label without context seems silly. If Zed is gay he should have a meaningful relationship to go along with it, just as he should if he turns out to be straight or whatever orientation.
Well, Zed doesn't seem like someone who would be interested in a relationship, like Syndra. Both are about power and ruling.
After Bilgewater, I would say Graves and TF are pretty good choices. They also break the stereotypes.
People really need to sort out their priorities in this community. Sexual preferences should not be the first thing we ask for character depth cause by itself doesnt give any type of foundational depth to a character, it will only lead to caricatures.. Aka, it has no place in LoL at the current moment. You know why in the current moment, cause more than a third of the champions are a total enigma of who they even are in this post-retcon lore and you wanna know the sexual preferences of them first...da hell....so please sort out your priorities.
