So since the Great Retcon, the previous map has been rendered non-canon due to the inclusion of the Institute of War. And from what we've seen from the Harrowing map, Bilgewater and the Shadow Isles have moved around. It's been four months and the lore doesn't have a map.
So what is the current state of Valoran's map? When can we expect to see it? Have any major factions changed location or any regions added/removed?
Hm.... ya know i almost completely forgot about the map. But i would assume it would look a bit like the old one.
SHADOW ISLES/IONIA/BILGEWATER
Maybe it might be a island, but I actually doubt that. Well more like a giant island having countries and regions in it. I can see that in the corner of the map there would be the SI, with Bilgewater close by and then to the right of it be Ionia, forming a triangle.
DEMACIA & NOXUZ/ZAUN & PILTOVER
Next we would have Demacia and Noxus be parallel to each other. Does this mean they will be across from each other? No, just on opposite sides. Zaun and Piltover would be a bit harder to pin down where those to would go but I would assuming they are actually to the side of both Noxus and Demcia. What I mean is that they would be within lets say driving distance to each other but in the middle of Runeterra but not exactly in the middle.
BANDLE CITY
Bandle city is a hard place to put down actually, on one hand i want to say it would be located in the uh what was the jungle again? Well it would be in the middle of there. But on the other hand that would make it hard to say how yordles such as Heimerdinger got to Piltover and such. So were would it go if it wasn't in the middle of the Plague Jungle ( just remembered )? Probably south of Demacia but a little bit of a journey, lets say a one week hike.
SHURIMA
Shurima might be actually be the gap in between Noxus and Demacia, or may it be the most Southern region with the Plague Jungle being on the outskirts of Shurima. Also, just so i'm not forgetting anything, Icathia would be found on one of the ends of Shurima, the Fallen city of Shurima is in the middle so that's that and as well i can see the town Zilean is from being some where close to the boarder of Shurima and the Plague Jungle.
THE FRELJIOD
The Freljiod would be in the Northern part of Runeterra, like always. But sharing the borders would be these vast mountains and one of the mountains would reach to the skies, this would be Mt. Targon. Mt. Targon would probably be in the middle of all the mountains. Now as for one more region that I almost forgot about would be the Voodoo Lands. I don't really know where to put it to be honest, but I have two places were I can see it. The first one would be, much like were I put Bandle city, close to Noxus as it would make sense since Annies' parents and followers took a journey to the Voodoo Lands. The other place i would imagine it be is some where in or near the Plague Jungle.
I would draw a picture for clarity but well, Paint is not exactly a good way to represent what I just described. Sorry for making you have to read this but just so ya know this is just my opinion, not like its finally.
