Anyone else sick of people complaining about skins for reasons other than quality?

That Eternum Cassiopeia skin coming out. People didnt like the splash and it got fixed. And thats fine.

But when the new SG skins got announced there were like 7 front page posts complaining about who they were. SO MANY posts complaining about Ahri.

Then the voices came out. And again people complained she was annoying, and kind of a bitch. Ignoring thats the point.

Now the skins are actually coming out and we are having 7 posts front page again.

Honestly. If you dont like the skin, the personality, whatever. Dont buy the skin. And if you are just upset that the legendary is Ahri or whatever, I dont care, we dont need to see that shit 8 times a day. And guess what, the current meme "She fits the skinline" Is incredoubly fucking true. Like Ahri or not she is by far the best champion to be legendary on SG. On an Anime themed skinline, from an oriental themed champion, being the leagues only true animal-girl (a trope in anime)

If this post seems kinda salty. Its cause i am so sick of seeing just pointless, effortless, "Lel fuck ahri and her skin" posts.

Edit: And since people are gonna try to strawman this: No im not an Ahri main, i am like mastery 3 on her. No i probably wont get the skin, i like the Raka and Syndra ones more. Its just http://i2.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/newsfeed//001/067/362/f3c.gif

Sorry mate,but this thread will fall on deaf ears for most. People will always complain about shit. It's just human nature to complain about something you don't like, especially on the internet. Hell, the internet empowers people's ability to complain.

There will always be Ahri's skin complaint threads. It's best to just ignore them & move on.

I think I just ignore those posts now.

She does have a lot of skins though, and the colors of Star Guardian Ahri are similar to like 2 of her other skins so I can see why people would complain. People just want to see skins for champs too. Like all of the more recent champs who still only have their release skin.

That aside, it looks super pretty and I think every champ should get a Star Guardian skin. [slayer-jinx-catface]

Well, there is nothing forbidding people to give Riot feedback about their decision making when it comes to skins. The skins are done and came out, nothing's gonna change that. But I still felt that I should tell Riot as a customer that their choices for the skins this year were suboptimal in my opinion.

What's so bad about telling them that I was highly dissappointed in their choice and hoping that they will do better in the future?

Other people are sick of seeing only certain unnamed popular champions getting enough attention. They can also spawn enough threads, saying "Maybe I sound salty, but it's because I would finally like legendary skin for some other champion and it's time to stop giving frequent decent skins only to the elite".

A person can get sick of wide array of things and ask for them to stop, but there's quite a lot of people and not sure why they should be the ones to stop. They have right to be annoyed by that skin in the same way you are annoyed by them. Yes, it's sad for those who created it and wanted objective feedback; no, they don't claim the skin is low-quality directly due to that. Also as for her voice - criticising it for being annoying, If explained enough, can be criticising its quality. Or does quality of the skin to you only mean proportions of splash's face and whether one pixel is correctly red?

I really wish people would encourage the skins they want to see instead of just bringing down the creators of the skins that they don't want to see

I'm a huge anime fanboy and I absolutely love this skin line, VOs and all. I love the Ahri laugh as it is a reference to an evil villain laugh in anime/ a really cocky laugh. If you don't like the skins, that's cool, but what's the reason to attack them about it? Did the skin offend you and hurt you? Did it assume your gender? Why not just tell the skin team what you would really like to see? Why not try to be more detailed. You could always give actual ~~ CRITICISM ~~

Hey, skins team! I saw your latest skins and I would just like to say that next time you should improve on this! I appreciate your effort to make skins for us greedy fans that do nothing but hate on you when you don't give us that fits everyone's needs!!! ^.^

Stop doing this: Omg the Ahri voice line makes her sound like a total female dog and the abilities barely even change, like wtf?

Try doing this: I would really appreciate it if the next time you released a skin for Ahri you would give her better visuals and change up her abilities more. I personally thought that she didn't really fit the leader role with that VO ( btw I love her VO personally. They got the person that voices the super cool and smart chick from witch academia), and she sounds really cocky. I believe that leaders should sound like X. I just don't think that skin is for me, but I look forward to your next skin line!

I love the Soraka skin but not at least putting forward issues I have with some of the skins is just plainly ignoring it and not offering the team advice so they improve for next time. I was mostly let down not that Ahri got the legendary or that the skin was bad (I personally don't like it but that's not what matters). My main issue with it was this is the one legendary she will likely get for a while and the choice of it being star guardian is just a let down to me. There is so many fantastic themes Ahri could run with and that could have been a legendary and yet we get a skin that feels similar to both pop star and academy but also one that just doesn't explore a different idea.

I for one really am sad she won't get a Soulstealer skin because that would have been AMAZING! Instead we get this one legendary that is just okay I guess? It's just a let down we can't get something other than cutesy, girly themes for Ahri, a champion that doesn't really have a darker theme to go with her darker story beats.

I mean, I'm always going to complain about Ezreal skins, I just don't talk about that on here. I think that if someone has complaints that aren't about the quality of the skin, they should keep it to themselves instead of whining about it.

I feel like you're targeting my thread and I wasn't complaining about Ahri getting a SG skin. I'm complaining that Luxs skin, being the original, should be up to par with any other skin in the line. Ahri is currently overpowering Lux as the main character in the skin line.

Also "oriental" is an offensive term these days.

I would never buy these skins but im not gonna be angry about them making them. Theres skins for peoples own customization of their game experience. Just because theyre not for me doesnt mean someone wont like them. People need to chill the fuck out.

I am not, people are entitled to voicing thier complaints and or dissatisfaction on things. Most of the time they are within good reasons, like how certain champions get so many skins while others that desperately could use a new skin are out of luck.

But yeah, Ahri fits well I personally think Syndra would've been better for the ultimate, but it's whatever. And the new team doesn't have a heavy-hitter/fighter type champion like Poppy. I would've suggested Quinn or Shyv or Sejuani or Irelia or Diana. IDK which is best, but that's the idea.

Bottom line. Who cares.

If you have a complaint about the skin, don't buy it. Law of supply and demand, if you don't want it, they won't make more of it. Your complaint will reach Riot through the form of your with-held funding/income and they will be forced to take notice. Almost like Ahri skins... sell.

If you like the skin, good for you. Get it. Enjoy it. Wallow in the fact that you just purchased what's essentially a teenaged girl-themed skin in a skimpy outfit. Question your life choices. And enjoy it none the less.

If you're just sick of seeing people complain. Really. Who cares. Not like you're being constructive to either side of the point apart from screaming like a child. "SHUT UP." People will complain either way, and likely ignore your complaint and/or not care.

EITHER WAY. Everything is literally a waste of what precious seconds you have left, all to say someone is wrong over the internet. I hope it was worth it, because those seconds will never come back.
