I can't deny or ignore how beautiful scene is when Valmar and Kai start to shatter both physically and mentally.

You see Valmar's head being shattered, and how in his mind he is fighting with Noxians because he sees them responsible of Kai's death. Then with his eyes (which he is directly in front of him) he sees Kai getting shattered. And while Valmar is in action, seeks for vengeance, Kai is in peace, closing his eyes before the moment, not wishing for any revenge. Just an ordinary hunter.

2 lovers being shattered and getting destroyed together, having different opinions about the case and still getting connected what matters. They still reach other and hold hands.

This is completely related with lore as Kai is moral brake and Valmar is in anger with hatred.

This is a scene with deep meaning. It is a masterpiece and I like how it is handled.

I also like how most of old Varus lore fans agree on new lore is good but wish it was on new champion as they also liked old Varus lore too. Most of people unhappy about removing Varus we know, not because new Varus is shit. This is somewhat success for the lore, but it still needs fix by Riot. I thought giving Darkin wife and kid to Varus and they being killed by human mages would kinda connect old and new lore.
