SJW IronStylus says characters will be stylized from now. Really? There's a difference between being stylized and being outright disgusting and amateur looking. What the fuck is this:

You think the new one is on the left? WRONG, that hideous thing on the right is the new one. The difference in changes for the other two skins is even more horrendous but I didn't have comparison pictures on hand.

And don't tell me they fixed them on the PBE, it's still 99% the same trash, it's completely disgusting and even worse on the other 2 skins. They've made it abundantly clear with what they've said that they're keeping this creepy/ugly Disney villain caricature look for Fiora.

You can stylize something without it looking like an intern made it to troll someone. I'm not going to bend over and take this one, I want my money back, I own every Fiora skin, I've blown hundreds of dollars on this damn game and I'm not about to watch content get deleted and replaced with garbage that's insanely just described as being "slightly different" or "stylized".

It's not in any way, shape or form what I bought, it's nothing the same. Either your company stops quoting bullshit policies about no refunds or don't see a cent from us again. This isn't even getting into the topic that you're essentially deleting a champion and replacing it with an ugly one with the same name that's not at all the same.

Enraged customers who think Riot's art style and artist's "deal with it, we're the artists" attitude is bullshit that would end in disaster in nearly any other company.

As if past butcherings weren't horrible enough (Pentakill skins being demolished), this one is clearly the art team pushing as far as they can and seemingly getting a kick out of how pissed off people are.

Don't take this laying down. Send in ticket after ticket demanding refunds. Don't take no for an answer. Keep sending in tickets until they get the message. The art team can get away with whatever they want as is abundantly clear from their "fuck you" attitude, but that doesn't mean you should let them take your money too.

The SJW crusade of the art team has been going on for too long. You want to make uglier-than-hell characters? Fine, no one complained about any of them. But STOP GOING BACK AND DESTROYING WELL ESTABLISHED CHARACTERS!

Probably the only time I'm disappointed in the art team and Ironstylus.

These Fiora models are hideous. They could easily not change Fiora's model and just pretend this never happened and let it blow over. Let us have her new kit, make the animations for the current models, and we can pretend the whole art crap never happened.

And if you don't want to waste the new splash and "classic" model, make it a skin. See how many people buy it. Probably not many. I wonder why.

Let me preface and tl;dr by saying I sympathize with you OP.

When I first started playing this game, I couldn't for the life of me figure out how anyone had anything negative to say about it. This was back in old GD and the number of shit posters and flamers were abundant and that's honestly all I thought they were. "How dare they!" I thought. I was naive.

Time passed and as Riot made changes, I began to notice I didn't exactly agree with all of them. I figured this would naturally be the case as Riot isn't marketing to me personally, but to a lot of people that are like me. I let the ones I disagreed with slide and I relished in the changes I approved of. However, the number and frequency of changes I thought were bs kept growing while the number I enjoyed continued to diminish. This is the cycle of how a fanboy turns into a flamer and how Riot manages to kill fun.

I have no idea when it happened but I think around the time when Sivir got a new splash art is when my undying adoration for Riot began to nosedive. Thread after thread of people showing Riot how they messed up were being posted. People and myself went so far as to show real life examples of how the anatomy simply didn't work. We all acknowledged what Riot was aiming for and pointed out they missed the mark, but we were met with 2 answers. Deal with it or absolute silence.

I could sit here and shit on Riot and tell you they're a terrible company. They aren't really when you look at it objectively. They're a business trying to make money which is all any business is really doing. If I were to be perfectly honest with you though, Riot doesn't really give two parts of a shit what you think OP. They're going to continue on their way and it's going to make them money. They've got a pretty good business model they've organically fallen into. For every fault you find, 30 or 40 people will willingly defend it. It's become so bad that Riot has no real reason to respond to any of your criticisms. Their fans will do it for them and that will be that. You'll argue, they'll defend. This will happen until you forget and move on. That's the crux of their PR department. They depend on your willingness to become complacent and forget. Either you will be drowned out by their summer soldiers or you will be ignored into submission. In either case, you will eventually become complacent and forget. Small changes will happen sure, but nothing so major such as a complete scrap of their plans. This will all happen with barely a single response from their "player first" staff members.

Sure, when they do respond, you'll get the same tired answer. "We need to work on our communication skills" or something similar, but that's been their go to response since as far back as late season 2 when I started playing. Their communication skills haven't improved and I have to sincerely doubt any actual effort was ever put into improving them. Riot doesn't need to change. Riot won't change. They're the largest game on the planet and your criticisms, no matter how valid they'll ever be, are only an insignificant moot point to them.

You'll beat yourself to death before you even so much as move them OP. In all honesty, they aren't really worth the effort or the emotion. If you enjoy the game, enjoy it for what it is. A time waster. If, like me, you find your frustrations with the company start altering your mood, then it'd be best to find something different to waste your time on. Come back every blue moon, play an aram or two, laugh at how dumb things are, and then leave it at that. Just don't let this company and their shitty policies physically and emotionally affect you.

I don't even care about her size or "sexiness" the models are just objectively worse...the facial image in and of itself shows how much quality went into that look....it's honestly sad that they are doing a VU for her. Her kit, yeah that makes sense but her style and look were fine. Make the VU a skin not her new model.

Also this is from someone that has little issue with riot for the policies or practices. This time though I completely disagree with this move.

Ironstylus made so many GOOD designs for female champs. Yet Fiora is the one he butchers.

Fiora goes from one of the most attractive females in League, to a frigging butterface who looks like a Tumblr SJW's "ideal woman" (ie: Fat and ugly)

What i don't understand is they have a problem switching the bangs on fiora because then the splash wont look like the models in game.... but why would you even change it when all her skins (royal guard, mistress, nightravin) have the hair over one eye.. so does that mean they are gonna change the splashes to them since it don't look like the model anymore? IT makes no sense. easy as done just fix the models like the splash or close to them. I see so many fans of the game easily re edit the art and made it 100x better. and they are doing it for FREE and so many at one time. They don't work for riot

Yeah I agree, this "VU" is basically just a new champ that they made then used an existing champions name, in no way does the new look feel like Fiora at all, hell the only reason I new it was Fiora when I saw it on ff@20 was because the title said it.

The model on the right is fat.

Literally this VU is a horrendous travesty upon Fiora. I was all for her - I got all her skins, most from mystery gifts. I got Headmistress, one of my favorite skins.

Now? Now she looks horrendous. She no longer looks like the slim, suave french badass. She's a fat french woman with a ruler.

I was pissed at Kayle's splash, but THIS?! THIS IS WHAT I WAITED FOR?!

Thank god I didn't buy that skin, at it's release it look look as fuck, but I already had Royal Guard. That is a visual downgrade done for no reason. We buy the skins, we buy the champions, you get paid because of us. It's a company, not a fucking personal art project. If you want to make money, make things people are going to buy. I'm sure as hell not buying a visually downgraded skin.

Im a huge Fiora player and while I am hopeful for the new skill changes im very upset with the hideous VU. I hate her new look. She was stunning before. I loved ALL of her skins. Now they all look terrible. Dont even get me started on Musketeer. Its TRASH now. I will be demanding a refund. If we dont get a classic skin im gonna raise hell.

I think instead of calling Riot out you should be a lot more kind and organized with your post, Rioters won't comment on discussions/posts just flat out insulting them.

Also I'm pretty sure Riot is continuing to tweak Fiora, they want to give her a more sophisticated look while also trying to balance out her previous look. Personally I dislike the new splash art on how large the difference is between her core facial features, but at least they're trying to keep the game new and fresh.
