Make me incredibly curious about what the average Void creature is like. While The Void has always been a vague alternate world full of darkness and weird monsters, we've never gotten much in the way of specifics save for what we can glean from Void Champions. Vel'Koz, being a talkative 'scientist' just happens to off-handedly mention some really interesting things.

"Endoskeletal. Quite peculiar." Having an internal skeleton is apparently highly unusual in the Void. But... explicitly has one, visible when he explodes after death, and probably has one as well based on his body structure and the whole growing thing. Cho and Kog are weird even to other Voidborn it seems.

"Human melting point remains... inconsistent." Apparently, most Void species melt at a consistent temperature as though they're only made of a single type of material.

"Creature's mewling increases during dissection." First off, Vel dissects things alive and without anesthesia. Fucking brutal. Second; Void creatures either don't feel or don't respond to pain, evidently.

"I miss the darkness of the Void." "The sunlight here is harsh." The Void is dark, we knew that, but the second line is the one worth noting. Vel isn't complaining that there's a sun, he's complaining that this particular sun's light is harsh. Presumably he's seen one before. Does the Void have a sun of some kind?

There's a lot to pick through and theorize about here, and it'd be great to learn more about the Void.

I think you're extrapolating some of these a little too far. For example, just because Vel notes that humans make more noise when they're dissected doesn't mean void creatures don't have a response to pain. He isn't necessarily comparing, just making a note of a fact. Same with the inconsistent melting point. He's making a statement of fact about humans, not comparison. When he appends something to the statement like "Quite peculiar", you can presume the void is different, but many of his quotes are not necessarily trying to compare.

I think you're probably reading too much into this. His voicelines aren't meant to give you an idea of the Void, they're meant to set up the kind of character he is.

"Bones are surprisingly inflexible" "Are no organs safely removable?" "Their skins appear non-transferable." "Hm, this is a fragile species." "Creature appears to seek its maternal unit." "Have they ceased to evolve?" "When bisected, neither half grows back." "Odd creatures of blood and flesh."

If you add all these together, you can get pretty rough picture of native void creatures:

-they don't have parents, or at least not father/mother. It's more likely they multiply by division like cells -this is further supported by fact they can regrow when split in half -these beings are capable of growing organic carapace which works as exoskeleton and "holds them in shape". It's very likely they can grow it consciously (At least Kha can). It appears they can grow to practically unlimited size (Cho). For example, Kha's blades seem to be made of his internal matter, so it seems he doens't damage/cut using physical strength, it's more likely he's using something like Vel's plasma beams (think of lightsabers) -they need sustenance, and they can get it by either devouring matter (Kog, Cho, Kha, Rek) or absorbing energy (Vel) -they are very individualistic and often refuse to work with other void-born, however they seem to follow some kind of leadership -there is some great void creature, possibly leader or ancient/primal voidborn that seems to spawn voidlings/command invasions

I'm pretty sure the Void is just an Lovecraft-inspired Eldritch location full of many kinds of crazy monsters (a lot of them invertebrate, or at least insectoid in nature). From the art we've seen of the Void, it even appears to be a sort of living world, similar to Phaaze from Metroid or Remina from Hellstar Remina. Lots of open gashes in the ground sporting teeth, tentacles coming from the mountains, and a weird purple light that comes from a black-ish Sun.

Vel'Koz appears to be in a high class of monsters from the Void, being capable of very intelligent thought and some really weird philosophy. Cho'Gath, Kog'Maw, and others are more animalistic, and Kha'Zix and Rek'Sai are actual wild animals.

He's a bright monster, so maybe he was sneaky back in the void. The sunlight makes him adapt to a different fighting style.

The mewling increases observation is apparently homage to the idea that there is no sound in the void as was expressed in a music video with various LoL champions being role played by various singers.

Melting point inconsistent observation is probably just him noticing that different champions die at different rates when he starts zapping them. Like a Soraka might be healing from Q, or someone might have bought some lifesteal or something to prolong the suffering. Actually, it's possible that instead this is him having a fascination with heat. In that video that I was thinking about, Malzahar states that there is no light and no sound, but there is dark, death, and cold. So if there is cold, it can be assumed there is little to no heat, thus he would be fascinated by the concept of a melting point perhaps.

Don't really have a comment about the first point of interest you brought up.

Actually with Chos body growing rapidly, i dont think bones would be good, He has an exoskeleton.

I don't think humans get melted, do we? We get burned, our materials are not open to get melted.
