Can Xerath remove someone's magical powers?

Most likely that Xerath can perceive magic sources easily and this puts Taliyah in a dangerous position.

Even in my language, It is translated as removing Taliyah's magical powers. TyrekGoldenspear made a good character comparison. It is literally like Amon. Maybe he can remove magical powers from mortal mages.

Not sure though. I'm totally going from this sentence.

I don't get where you got that idea...

Taliyah is a powerful mage (not nearly as powerful as the former pinky of Xerath's dead uncle though) And Xerath is either hiring or eliminating any source of trouble. Since taliyah already proved that he doesn't like Xerath she is in a life threatening situation and Susan suggests her to get away asap before the "gank".

Edit:

I don't recall the exact part, but maybe when Xerath kills the fake Azir descendant there might be more infos about him absorbing others' magic power.

I dont know why would Nasus say ''he rips the magic from you'' rather than ''he kills you'' though?

I think there is nothing on death part of Sun Priest. Xerath simply kills him in there.

I'm not saying Xerath can remove magic from others exactly. According to OP's sentence, he can. But It can also be a metaphor.

Xerath has become rather akin to magic and I think that what Susan means is to be taken as literal as possible, he will tear you apart using your own magic poer because he can maniuplate it like Jedi use the Force.
