The new big portraits have revealed something I never noticed; Fiora's (blank) was ravaged

She never used it anyway! Gives her a free hand to punch people with if needed.

Actually she did use it during her Parry (Supposedly), I understand that the old parry is gone, but couldn't they have left the main gauche anyway?

It was such a big part of her Splash Identity.

As were many of us. I miss her old outfit.

The main gauche is so..... like historically correct.

It is actually what people who use that type of sword to parry.

It's no secret Fiora's new visuals are meh at best. Sadly we're just going to have to deal with it.

It didn't make sense for her to have it and not use it, though. I wish they had been more creative with the Riposte and figured out a way for her to use it there, but oh well.

The new visuals are an upgrade to the old. The old visual design was very colorless and bland. I remember the first day of lol I ever played and I went through the champions and came across Fiora who was literally the most boring looking character to me back then (visually) together with old Karma.

Today Karma is my main and Fiora is on fleek and looks fierce as f. Good job by Riot I'd say.

Sure, her model may have been dated, but every champion's model is at one point. Invigorating the colors and fixing up her bones (which I don't think they even did) would have been a good enough upgrade. Her old look, both in armor and design, were far superior to her current look, not to mention more fitting as a duelist.

I guess the fact that she was wearing armor and now isn't is a bit confusing for some. Personally I think she thinks she's so good as a duelist to not need any proper armor and that fits her character quite well actually.

Armor isn't needed as she counts on the fact that she is able to parry the enemy attacks. Of course this isn't the case ingame but it's her fantasy.
