Graves killed Ekko's Friend/brother!

Before anyone says anything.. I understand graves is from bilgewater, but considering his lore states"" Graves made the mistake of hustling a hefty sum from Dr. Aregor Priggs, a high-ranking ZAUNITE official and businessman""" it isnt a stretch to say he could make it to ZAUN, and it does say in his lore""he stowed away on the first ship to the mainland he could sneak aboard. ""

In Ekkos comic book, he finds his friend (brother?) killer and its an elderly man with gray hair, a mustache and a gun tucked away in his cloak.. Graves.. looks exactly the same, but he has black hair. To explain that, we can always say that this comic book didnt happen in present time, instead, ekko was a few years from now where graves has aged a tad bit.

What do you all think? Ive already been told my theory is wrong, but the only reason provided is that "graves is from bilgewater."

The problems I see with your theory are: -its not the problem that graves is from bilgewater,but that the killer is from piltover

-The guy looks nothing like graves except for the hairstyle

-There is nothing that indicates that the champs in the game live during different time periods,if that was Graves from the future,then Ekko should have been older too.

-The guy seems to be too cowardly for graves,I mean graves is a badass who spent years in prison,do you really think that he panics the moment a street punk walks up to him?

They must've lived in different time periods. Lee sin was going to be a Summoner like all of us but he ended up killing a whole village of people on a summoning then he exiled himself and lit himself on fire for days during a war (which is how he became blind).

My point is Lee sin was there when the league was starting (I feel like it would be safe to assume this because the dangers of summoning was extremely high while he was learning). This would take place much earlier than lets say morgana because she joined the league to kill kayle over and over

There are 2 reasons for that: 1.Lee sin was going to become a summoner,then he killed a village and THEN,long after he gave up on being a summoner,he became the blind monk that he is now in the game(with him burning himself as a protest against the noxian invasion,which caused his blindness). So yeah part of lee sins backstory happened most likely before Morgana was summoned,but that was also in the past and lee sin himself joined later too.And the champs didn't have to join at the same time,they are just like they are in the game at the same time.

2.Lee sin and Morgana are going to get new lores anyway,the Institute of war alongside the League of legends got retconned.
