i legit don't find anything interesting at all, the only thing we learn is that: -she is an ionian who migrated in demacia -she is mute
not to forget that since summoners aren't canon anymore we have no clue what happened to her telepathy

As people stated before, she is Ionian not Demacian. Hers will come with the Ionian lore
A lot of other Demacian champs got nothing, they'll probably release it in waves like the Piltover/Zaun event.

Neither were 
You could argue that Sona, Xin and Poppy didn't receive lore updates because they originate from other factions, but there really is no excuse for Lucian and Fiora being left out. Lucian especially so, as Fiora did get a new bio with ther 2015 rework, but even then that was a while ago.
they might make her full ionian in the future
I'm just going to guess that there is more to Sona's lore than her connection to Demacia.
Her and Xin probably have more cultural struggle centric lores, meaning that they wouldn't fully fit in an update to just showcase what the people born there are like.
At least I hope. I also hope they don't skip Sion in Noxus.
