i legit don't find anything interesting at all, the only thing we learn is that: -she is an ionian who migrated in demacia -she is mute
not to forget that since summoners aren't canon anymore we have no clue what happened to her telepathy

Sharjo16 votesIt's probably more because Sona's lore needs to be tackled in a specific way that other Demacians, and indeed most other champions don't. Because part of Sona's history lies with Ionia, if they're preserving that there's a ton of Ionia development that needs done first, even more so if she was in Ionia during the invasion. Also there's the big question of how she gets from Ionian orphan to Demacian nobility in a world where Demacia's never gonna be interested in Ionia and travel between them is nonexistent.
This doesn't exist for other Demacians because everyone else aside from Xin can be explained within the bounds of Demacia centric lore. Sona's got way more of the world to expand on before her story can be properlly established.
So it's likely not that Sona was left out due to malice or negligence, but because Riot wanna sort out the Ionia stuff so that her story can be properlly delivered.

Sona is Ionian, but somehow ended in Demacia, with how the current lore goes, should be pretty damn difficult with the Noxian invasion and Demacia not liking outsiders, specially not mages.
Xin was a Noxian if i remember correctly

Lucian and Thresh's stories are so intertwined, and up to date, he didn't need a story.

You need to remember that its actually rare for all champs to be updated in a story-update(Bilgewater left out Nautilus,the first shadow isles udpate lacked Eve,Yorick,Maokai and Elise,the piltover update didn't update Heimerdinger and Ziggs and the zaun update didn't update Singed and Twitch),so its not surprising that they left out some demacians this time around as well.
However I think it is very likely that they left out Sona because they want to make an Ionia update first,but I doubt that Sonas lore will be updated in the first Ionia update,it will likely be updated in a second Demacia update(probably alongside Xin and Lucian).

While Singed got a small story piece,its neither his color story nor his bio. And while he is connected to Noxus,he is still a Zaun champ.
Also this is the first time I'm hearing this about Twitch and I remember that they even mentioned how some champs were left out during previous lore updates.(and you left out any explanation for leaving out some of the shadow isles champs during the first update)

Lucian did not receive a lore update. His lore is canon,sure,but the standard lore for a champion nowadays is a bio and a color story and lucian doesn't have a color story and his bio is also far less detailed than modern bios. So while his lore is definetly still canon,it simply doesn't match the new standards for lore.

You could argue that Sona, Xin and Poppy didn't receive lore updates because they originate from other factions, but there really is no excuse for Lucian and Fiora being left out. Lucian especially so, as Fiora did get a new bio with ther 2015 rework, but even then that was a while ago.

Fiora has her color story and bio already. Same with Poppy.

Her and Xin probably have more cultural struggle centric lores, meaning that they wouldn't fully fit in an update to just showcase what the people born there are like.
At least I hope. I also hope they don't skip Sion in Noxus.
