Transcended Kayle - boring, ugly and less exciting than even the default skin

This is the first time I ever comment on a reworked skin, even though I've been affected a lot. While most skins are awesome one of my favorite Kayle skins (unmasked Kayle) has now become an ugly mess, that's even less exciting to use than the default skin she'll be shipped with.

The color scheme has nothing that feels special compared to the beautiful other reworked skins. The hair looks like plastic and really awkward lying over her shoulder like that. I just wished Riot would try to make her more like the original unmasked Kayle, not some random trendy, ugly haircut.

Considering Kayle unmasks herself as the game goes on, base Kayle would be Unmasked. They elected to completely redo the skin from scratch.

The skin is intended to be something completely different. The same way Crimson Akali became Infernal.

I don't like Transcended though. The splash is freaking creepy.

I love the splash though (haven't seen how it looks ingame).

I like that they pushed the angel theme to something looking more divine in a more godly way.

Edit: I've seen it now. It's easily one of her best skins. 🙄

I think Transcended is a natural upgrade over the crappy and honestly illogical base model. It reminds me of angels in MtG. I'm personally going to be using it alongside Aether Wing and Penta.

Looks like another case of "to each his own". Personally aside Silver Kayle I think Transcended Kayle is the best looking skin. Yes, I understand her splash face does not match the in game model but I don't care because to me they still look really nice.
