I notice in the boards everyone is complaining about mordes title change But really? Is that the thing everyone should be discussing right now? really?

A freakin name change is something that can reverted without effort at any time Why is no one talking about the fact that there may not be anymore harrowing celebrations?

How is a stupid name more important then the destruction of the biggest seasonal event for ANY game?

I'm not saying it's not an issue, it is, but it doesn't change anything in anyones life AND you can bitch about that at anytime, we can deal with that AFTER Making riot revert their decision to not have Harrowing celebrations in game anymore!

Because THIS is a change that affects us all AND it's pretty much impossible to change if we don't take action now!

It was the same with Fiora's new hairstyle. Completely flamboyant overreactions like some vivid semi-nude street parade. Push-overs at Riot Games gave in to a regional minority and changed her hair back.

Both are important. I want the Harrowing to take place around Halloween, not in April. And certainly not once every three years. If Riot is having difficulty working on the event because Worlds is so close by, then it was a mistake to schedule the tourney at that time and they should move Worlds.

But I voted for Morde's title being more important. Here's why, it's not just about Morde's title. It's about Riot not listening to fan feedback for unpopular champions. People that aren't Morde players are supporting Morde players, not necessarily because they dislike the title change, but because they're trying to send a message to Riot that we as players need to be listened to and consulted. The Cass players, in particular, are out in force trying to save Morde from the same fate their champion went through; a complete destruction of an identity. Anyone who's still salty about being ignored by Riot via Karma or Trundle or Sona or Soraka or Olaf or Eve, or is afraid that Riot will violate their favorite champion while ignoring their feedback is supporting Morde players now.

This issue is bigger than just a title, it's about respect and how we don't feel Riot is giving us enough. Whether or not we deserve that respect is separate issue.

Also, we do have a harrowing this year, and there will come more. Riot just said they don't do it on halloween anymore, since the black mist can come and go anytime

I rather have other kind of events rather than revisiting the Shadow Isles each year during the Harrowing.

I rather see Kumungu, Badle City, Ionia, Zaun...

The Harrowing is the the biggest seasonal event for this game? Freaking URF is bigger than the Harrowing.

Overall a harrowing event each year during halloween might be cool on paper, but there are som issues with it: 1.They'll continue to make halloween specials, its just that not every year they will talk about the harrowing and the coming of the shadow isles(something that is rather new anyway).

2.If they had to make a shadow isles event every year, then that would eat away at their resources, instead of giving us something for the shadow isles every year they could also focus on other aspects of the lore that need more attention.

3.Continuing from the 2nd point, having every year a harrowing event would pretty much mean that shadow isles would quickly become the nation with the most lore. There should be a certain balance between the nations.

4.It would get rather old if every year the shadow isles attack and every year bilgewater somehow survives.

5.Being able to do a harrowing at any time of the year allows them more flexibility,so if a new SI champ gets released they can add a harrowing event on top of that champ instead of keeping all that stuff back until halloween.

Meanwhile Mordekaisers title change is most likely going to be permanent once it leaves the pbe.

I was irritated at this because i got sick of seeing the forum spammed with this stuff. I understand that people are upset but goddamn, enough of the threads.

If they think Riot doesnt care about the players who like Morde then what makes them think Riot cares about them spamming the forum with this crap when they will do what they want anyway?

Honestly, i never felt the harrowing as important, maybe just being an excuse for shipping stuff like champions or skins. And the skins they shipped on were of good quality and quite creative in my opinion, and we had Kindred and probably we will have some lore, since Jaredan is teasing so hard that they should just censor his posts.

It was not like years ago where there was a map for the harrowing, which was very very very cool and felt seasonal. Maybe one day it will come back, maybe in 3v3...
