About these new splash arts.

The art doesn't match the champs anymore. Don't get me wrong I love league and the art it just doesn't match anymore. Their ingame model looks nothing like all of the new art thats been coming out. When a champion first comes out, their art looks like the actual model. Wukong's art looks like Wukong ingame, he has a childish arrogance to him ingame and it comes off in his art. Not anymore, now he looks a lot older. The biggest 2 would be and . I like all of the art regardless of context, except for Janna's I hate her face and her weird jaw. It reminds me of the art when the game first came out, its just bizzare to me. I love her current art.

Updating the art without changing the ingame models to match feels like a cheap way to pump out content. Ezreal still has playdough hair but in the art he has actual movement. I can't forget about ! I hate her current model now that the other champs have gotten updates, but her art matches her actual model. For her new art, her mouth is open. Trist's mouth does not move. If they're updating her model then this point no longer matters.

My point is that when any champ comes out, they look like their art, or their art looks like their model. In most MOBAs the art isn't this complex to have a piece that doesn't match the character. Remember the first Ezreal splash art? That was an exact copy of his ingame model. If you change the art, it'd be nice to do something with the model.
