Quite a few people are saying they dislike the new Blood Moon Diana splash because it "contradicts the skin line's lore".

You know what I have to say to that?

This splash is absolutely fantastic! One of, if not THE BEST splash to be released! I don't care if it contradicts the lore. Skin lore isn't even cannon to the League Universe. I would much rather have a fantastic looking splash and skin, then Riot bending down to people who want "skin lore consistency".

LEAVE IT AS IS! PLEASE!!!!!!!

I don't think changes are necessary, but it would be cool to see the scorn of the moon have the bloody blood moon in the background of her splash. I personally don't give a rat's ass about the face.

the splash is one of, if not the best splash in the game IMO. the skin itself is pretty bad though.

Nah, I won't. Made a decision to not buy a single RP after the DQ farce.

Still the skin looks sweet.

Only got a problem with the death animation being too dark. Other skins have it bright, in this case she kinda instantly snaps out of existance.

As for people thinking it's not accurate, remember one thing:

This skin line "canon" is a fucking theatre performance. Shen and Akali performed the story durning an Ionian festival.

To my knowledge no one is upset that Diana is human and got the skin people are upset that the only champion that is Moon themed finally get's put into a moon themed skin line and the skin is just another throw away shit tier skin. There's nothing specially about it despite the fact that Diana lives for the moon.

If feels more like they tried to minimum cost and maximize profits by taking what they know people have been asking to get for years and doing nothing special with it. The skin feels like it's too low of a grade for her specially since Diana doesn't have any high tier skins.

I don't get it. How can it be "inconsistent" if Blood Moon was literally derived off of the idea of people wearing costumes. The first two Blood Moon skins were that of Shen & Akali , who (in the old lore) wore those as costumes to honor the story that the Blood Moon festival derives off of. If anything, this seems perfect as Diana is all about the moon.

If there's any reason to dislike the skin it's because we can no longer make the joke about Diana not having a Blood Moon skin.

I was genuinely prepared to see EVERY other champions get a Blood Moon skin and then Diana would get an ultimate Blood Moon skin.
