Rek'sai's lore?

reksai's lore hasnce been change since her release > The largest and fiercest of her species, Rek'Sai is a merciless predator that tunnels through the earth to ambush and devour her prey. Her insatiable hunger has laid waste to entire regions of the once-great Shuriman empire. Merchants, traders and armed caravans will go hundreds of miles out of their way to avoid these vast areas, though cunning bandits have been known to lure the unwary into her killing grounds. Once Rek'Sai detects you, your fate is sealed. There is no hope of escape; she is death from below the sand.

i love playing her i really wish her lore would be updated, it says almost nothing about her... how did she come through the void? She is the "queen" what are per species, does she plan on bringing the rest of her kin over to this world? or is she trapped he and does she want to get back?

Also I think they did mention that a larger lore piece was in the works for her.

They're working on it is basically all we know. Roughly four months ago a few of narrative folks talked about how lore in the proper format was being worked on for a few champions. One of those fellows was WAAARGHbobo who said Tahm Kench, Sivir and Rek'Sai were all being worked on. FauxShizzle also chimed in saying Ekko and possibly Bard were also being worked on. Sivir of course has been put out already with the Shurima update but we've received no further updates for the rest of the mentioned champions. In fact, we're not actually sure as a whole what lore is coming up this year aside from Yorick lore.

So yeah, sod if I know. Our last update was four months ago, Shurima came and with it Sivir so things were worked on and have been worked on. Shurima and Targon probably pushed things back a tad for them so we have no real time frame at the moment, and Riot's not really in to ETAs where they can help it. So soon is the best answer I can give here.

tl;dr last mentioned about four months back - Rek'Sai's proper lore is being worked on. Release date is up in the air.
