Gangster Twitch splash art was a goofy rat, this is just a ridiculous looking stuffed animal with wide eyes.

Its going to get updated. Sion's splashes just came out, Fiora is next, and Twitch is after that. So no point in reverting it when its gunna get updated anyways.

why revert it when it will get updated anyways? he'll be right after Fiora since she only has to splash arts to update
They are in the process of making brand new splashes, so there's no reason to change it back to the old one that will go away anyways.
