Invade on Ionia by Noxus was already known by a lot people. I didn't create this thread to make it clear. I was trying to say exactly what you said. Noxus lost against Ionia at least in some point. It is quitely interesting imo, because even someone like Kled can accept how messed up they're against Ionia. I'm not surprised on Ionia's victory, I'm surprised how Ionia won, even Kled iaccepts.

First off, that's a line, not actual lore. Second, according to Taliyah they are STILL in Ionia. Third, in Old Lore they only got repelled after pushing halfway through the country, and even then had to wait 7 years before setting up a rigged match for Ionia to tell the League to tell them to get out.

First off, lines tell a lot thing, it doesn't have to be actual lore. It is like saying Jaredan's answers have no meaning because it is not directly from actual lore. Quotes are related with lore, not gameplay.

...Well it isn't that hard to imagine it as hard that Noxua can mantain itself. You have to remember that the weapon tech currently at best it's at around early enlightment era where guns and rifle aren't the standard in military. Without guns, tanks and planes the cost of war are a lot more cheaper than a modern war. Of course this also means that Noxus has really smithing / smelting and is rich in metal since they apear to outfit most of their troops with heavy armour and helmet. Beside ancient Roman China did similar things in history in terms of warmong and expanding, so it's not impossibleb to self supplly themself through the invasion.

Beside I'd imagine Noxus gave up on the invading part and is probably trying to mantain and defend the occupy Ionian territory. I'd imagine Ionia doesn't really want to fight and get back to their homeland as much after the countless death during the war. IRL example would be the relationship betweem Noxus and Ionia is similar the relationship with North Korea and South Korea

But that is my personal theory. However salt overdose is not good for the body.
