No, Varurs wants vengeance, but he is using corruption. Kalista wants him to give his soul to her, so she can become stronger. So far she wants graves and Varus to pledge to her. It's not like shes just. She is still twisted by the Magics of she Shadow Isles.
Nope. Varus just didn't save his people in order to save the world. Kalista represents quick idiotic judgement in this scenario. Varus is only wrong for taking the corruption into him because if he becomes a selfish fool that power will obviously be used wrongly.
