While it does look like wolf I'm going to have and say no as it was just way too early in Kindred's development. Kindred likely lacked a definite champion design back then.
For instance, Zac was teased in the video for League coming to Mac. But that video came out 28 days before his release date, rather than 7-8 months prior.
Jinx was teased in the Pool Party login screen, which came out a month before her release date.
The thing you have to remember is that when Riot teases at champions its usually within a month or two of them actually being released. Otherwise it would be just way too risky that something changes or the champion gets scrapped all together.
Development for kindred started early this year,around the time when the amumu video was released,meaning that the amumu video likely came first.
Not to mention that the "wolf" is formless shadow(without mask) that transforms into other forms as well,the wolf is just one of many forms.
