Which personal feature does come to your mind when you hear any of them? What aspect is dominant in a champion's personality?
I mean, I see ambition as the strongest personal feature of Xerath.
Xayah's Disobedience Rakan's Charming Renekton's Rage Shen's Senseless Evelynn's Sadism Jayce's Pride

Fasmodey1 votesI would say Syndra fits to not submitting on anything more. She doesn't kneel before, she has a highly strong bond to her freedom.
Not saying Syndra is not ambitious though. Both Syndra and Xerath have similar personal features. Both are ambitious and don't obey to anything. But Xerath is on ambition side more and Syndra is on freedom.
And I would say Azir's Ruling is more dominant than his ambition.
Garen feels like Justice to me but both fit.
Sharjo1 votesI would've said that Syndra's ambition for power is her main driving feature, just tied in with her desire to never be shackled down. I feel like her ambition comes out stronger since the not submitting thing is a result of that ambition though. Course that's just one way of looking at it.
Azir could be an ambitious ruler, a tyrannical ruler, a ruthless ruler, a compassionate ruler, etc. I figure ambitious works considering his goal as a ruler is to bring his nation back to its former glory, which is a pretty tall task. His ambition is empire sized.
And with Garen, I feel like justice is more of the goal he sets out, not a feature of his personallity, if that makes sense. He could pursue justice in a variety of ways, but through courage and determination is how he does it.
I feel like I'm looking more at personallity traits specifically though, so my perceptions might be a bit skewed.
This is why champions have three pillars that speak to their personallity; one generally isn't enough to encompass an individual.

Azir though, all plans he have for his Empire are there because of his desire for ruling. He is ambitious because he wants to rule.
Garen, Justice is not a personality yes. I should have said righteous.
I have never meant that one personal aspect explains the champion. They're just strong, dominant side of the characters. They don't mean the whole thing as you said.
