I just have one question about Galio's rework

Why is he no longer a gargoyle? Why does he look like a living statue? Why was this decision made? Gargoyles are cool!

My opinion of the matter is that perhaps this is what a Demacian Gargoyle looks like. Runeterra isn't our earth. Things are bound to be different. He however still has the Gargoyle traits; wings, tail, large upper body, tri-jointed legs, still made out of stone. He's just made of Demacian anti-magic marble with gold trim because DEMACIA!!

He still looks very much like a gargyole.

Just because he stands more upright doesn't mean he isn't a gargoyle anymore,he still has a tail, sharp fangs and wings.

But in his special champs interactions, Poppy calls him a gargoyle, and he responds with "Gargoyle? No, I'm more of a magic-nullifying colossus." He even says himself that he's not a gargoyle!

And Aurelion Sol isn't actually a dragon, yet he is frequently called a dragon(even by himself as there isn't a better term to describe him) and he clearly fills the "chinese dragon"-thematic anyway(and he does it despite the fact that he isn't even very chinese in the first place, with him being related to a greek faction).

He is still a winged guardian made of stone, who watches from above over something/someone and awakens in times of need to drive off any danger. Heck he has arguably more in common with actual Gargoyles than the previous version,as the previous one was pretty much just a golem with the design of a gargoyle.

I mean, he's a colossus now. That's cooler than a gargoyle, IMO.

But also, a gargoyle is small, and easily breakable. A marble goliath, on the other hand, is far from fragile.
