The first definition of dead eye is: A flat hardwood disk with a grooved perimeter, pierced by three holes through which lanyards are passed.

I'm starting to hope Deadeye isn't an ADC, just for this theory to be wrong.

Same. I want Deadeye to not be an ADC and have nothing to do with what you'd traditionally associated with a deadeye, just because I like the idea of subverting people's expectations.
