I have heard a lot of speculation on this, and as it seems, Jarvan IV is dead after that battle against Swain, where you can see Leblanc face on his platechest. But is this actually true or not? Since JoJ is dead and you guys are changing all the lores direction, this champions lore though are still part of the old lore. Can you clarify this at least, before changing? Is j4 actually dead on the "old lore"?

I don't quite remember , but they changed the fact that was katarina who got Sion's blood from garen so? Capturing J4 or killing him would end in the same situation : a war between Demacia and Noxus, since it would be a outrage against Demacia. At least with him dead, LB could get a lot of informations about Demacia before coming back to Noxus, and would destabilize Demacia with his death.

Overall Swain does talk about a charade that included Jarvan IVs blood during the Sion-promo which does imply that Leblanc (or at least the black rose as a whole) did use it for something,so it is possible that leblanc impersonated or manipulated Jarvan IV(maybe even both,after all J4 doesn't seem to deny that he attacked swain)

Riot just realised Lore doesnt give money, so they got rid of JoJ, then the League and completely gutted the lore.

On the fight of Swain vs Darkwill, I am pretty sure it is LB who is fighting against him, instead, since "he says " watch closely", one of LB quotes, and since he vanishes , I assume she used her "passive" and distortion to get behind Darkwill, and win the duel snaring him. Here is the fight : Onlookers reported that Keiran initially had the upper hand and gradually forced Swain into a corner. "He had the Master Tactician against the wall," stated one witness. "I heard him say 'watch closely,' and he vanished – then reappeared behind Keiran. Swain dragged him to the ground and locked the poor fool in his snare spell."
I am pretty sure LB can impersonate someone. She is one of the most influent champions of this game, at least lore wise

If I had to guess, Jarvan was replaced and probably brainwashed, and so no one even realized he was gone. I'm thinking LeBlanc and Swain could pull that off. Perhaps even LeBlanc alone.
