Looking for Answers - Worldbuilding Questions

I know Riot has been cutting down on the "Rule of Cool" when it comes to discussing or naming things so that places in the world, or even items in it, are standardized when mentioned in varying works. That way, things mentioned have actual meaning and importance to the world as a whole. So, since these things have popped up, I'm hoping to get some nice, juicy lore tidbits that don't spoil too much about future lore stories, but that clarify these parts of the world.

For Example...

  • How do Lucian's "guns" work? What powers them and what are they made of?
  • Are Lucian's weapons unique to the Purifiers, or are the processes behind them used elsewhere in Demacia?
  • What's so special about "Demacian Steel" that it resists and harms dark energies? ("Because DEMACIA!" isn't really good enough.)
  • Is "Sunsteel" the same thing as Demacian Steel? Both are mentioned in newer lore, and both have similar effects.
  • What makes both Demacian/Sunsteel so special, and how are they created/by whom?
  • Did Olaf's axes hurt the spirits because True Ice is magical in nature as opposed to mundane?

I thought that the Sunsteel was a steel from SHURIMA or Targon. Maybe the Weapons/Shields of Leona and Panth are made of that steel.

I suppose that the True Ice damages the spirits because its magical, and magic can damage the spirits.... i guess... or maybe is more cold than death.

Well, what was left of Mordekaiser's kingdom became modern day Noxus. What if the people who fought his reign became what is now Demacia? It would explain why their armory is innately potent to necromancy/undead.

They may not even know why it is so special themselves, only that the craft has been passed down through ages, leaving its origin lost to memory.

Not the answer you are looking for but the answer is always MAGIC it is a relic weapon so it imbue with magic.
