I kinda feel like we should have gotten a satyr, another robot, or anything new before another tree but this is still okay.
Plants will rule the world.
On a side note, visually he seems like they just took Sylvanus and combined him with the tree he rides.

GreenLore1 votesNot really. He doesn't have hooves,he doesn't have fur,he doesn't have horns. The only thing he has in common with satyrs is that his torso is naked and his bottom half is covered in something.
If anything I'd say that Soraka is actually the most satyr-like thing that we have in the game,with the difference being that she is more like half-unicorn instead of half-goat.
Decrit1 votesI really really doubt Riot will do a satyr as you say. They want to do their unique stuff after all.
I guess Varus is as much as Satyr as we will get, at least for a while. He has the silhuette, he has the torso and the botton covered in sort of fur. I guess this is already much inspiration from Satyrs for now.
Then again they can add in the future something like that, but i don' t think they will do it totally ( for example horns and hooves but not the same exposed skin as a satyr, even thought this would make them look more like a classical demon ).

Varus simply doesn't have any features of a satyr,what covers his lower body half isn't fur,but mutant-corruption-growths.

However, if that pleases you so be it, even thought i see Soraka just as a Space-goat from world of warcraft ( the draenei ) rather a satyr. Seems too much different from a satir with the exception of hooves.

His legs are messed up but not goat legs joint wise. His name is literally the condition his legs have Varus deformity which means Bowlegged

I was quite disappointed when I saw that, instead of the art everyone was using, he ended up being some big-nosed friendly-giant tree. Still hoping it's just a transformation and he's not always that hard to look at.
