I am the only one who is disapointed he no longer has a raven following around and that he doesn't transform into a full demon bird?

I do like his new W a lot though

Yeah! Where is Beatrice? Also, he doesn’t limp anymore, which is a huge disappointment to me. That was both iconic to his in game appearance (to me) and one of the most Badass parts of his lore.

The gameplay looks great, really fun, but both those things things stand out and disappoint me.

THIS. What the hell Riot, didn't we have a massive discussion about removing iconic pieces of a characters personality years ago?

His badass monster bird form and Beatrice got replace by...."demon energy"? yeah, that's what the Swain mains were really hoping for..

For me the limb is fine to be fine. It made his walking animation wonky when he had movement speed buffs. However yeah... I liked the bird monster thing a lot

That is not to say I don't overall like the rework, I do. I am disappointing about that bit though

I was really hoping they would emphasize the raven theme. Instead, he has a shock hand.

Listen the craft is superb, riot is amazing a polishing stuff and making it look super cool but this is NOT the right direction for swain, they made him younger, removed the cane, removed the raven and gave him long hair for some reason? I understand taking inspiration from the likes of tywin lannister or lucius malfoy but swain was his own character and a very good one that is

Making him into a warlock is fine, the whole eldricht energy or whatever is cool but the thing that defined his ambiguous character was the idea that he was a corpse controlled by a demon bird, hell, you could have made beatrice into a darkin and it would have been fine

Swain was the perfect example of Raven =/= Crow but now both fiddlesticks and him overlap so much that I feel like fiddlesticks needs to be erased or something

He looks cool, def not what i was expecting but its even better. Rito sure seems good at reworks. I can't wait for the lore now, i hope its going to be awesome. Especially if its followed by a lore update of most of the Noxians champs. Overall really digging it. I guess i'm just always admirative of the work put into recent splash arts. He does look like a future Vlad i give you that.

As usual, everytime Riot makes game/balance decisions that frustrate me to the point of quitting, they have to rework a character in an amazing way to pull me back in. Sigh

He looks like a diablo boss the kit and everything just makes it so. I do agree with the others though, there's a lack of respect for his lore in his design in favor to make him another edge lord like Yasuo. He doesn't look smart and cunning just cocky. Like he just kicked the door down to whoop some ass! which would be cool if it was another character. He's the one you'd expect to be sitting in a chair waiting for you but when you walk in the room he isn't there and you got caught in a trap.
