It almost hurts my eyes when I look at his model. He looks like a pile of playdough. How long before he looks like this

IKR. I love the giant Godzilla Void Thing as much as the next guy, but he looks like a monster drawing form Monsters Inc. :/

that doesn't have to mean much,since they updated this site with the alistar update just before it went to the pbe.

So it shows only a few updates that are currently in the works,not all.

Yes, however, something like Chogath is most definitely on the same scale as Poppy so I doubt they'll just slip that in there. It was said in a thread somewhere that they'd want him to pretty much evolve the bigger he got, more monsterus the more stacks. So in order to do that they need to rip him apart and start from the beginning.

While Chogath is definetly a big project he is big in that his model will need more work than other champs,but poppy will need more work on her character,concept and abilities.

So I'd say in the end poppy is still the bigger rework,even though cho'gath is rather big too.

Well it didn't mean the same, but he is much much bigger in scale then Alistar , which was easy to slip in there cause he's is clearly just a Cassiopeia Singed Renekton level update where his rigging is fine, they just gave the model better shaping and textures.

yeah you are right about that. In fact I'd say he is probably going to be bigger than Karthus (if they update his VO and abilities too)

Cho'gath gets very large. As he gets big, his age becomes very, very visible. I could definitely get behind a small-scale cleanup.

He and Koggy need to both be updated to better fall in line with the design style Riot is using for Void-related critters.

Thing is that he is not the only one who hurts the eyes when you play him.

As far as i know cho is actually a little bit less priority,because they have already some plans for him,but sadly those plans are actually too good,since they plan on giving him an evolving model,but the current champion quality is too low to allow something like that.

Anyone know how many texture updates are left? And I feel like older shames who need full VUs will be held off from the like Alistar who is next for a VU

Did a thread about texture rebalances,I keep it updated regularly I basically list those who still didn't get any kind of model update and who were released before the Ashe VU(because ashe got a Texture rebalance,which means that all the champs that were updated/released before her(or together with her VU) are potentially up for an update) http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/story-art/uA3sReav-so-what-can-the-texture-rebalances-tell-us-about-future-updates
