Yes, he really does. I am going to have to start playing him again.

He actually hops over terrain. I'm sorry, but there's no way to balance that in a way for people to NOT complain about Talon being OP way after pre-season's end.

He can't hop over the same terrain on a given timer (longer than his ulti) and the animation cast time of the leap is a bit on the long side atm, but I am expecting tuning. He is basically immobile without terrain or a Target to Q, and his Q has a short range.

Oh, I'm perfectly fine with that ability. It makes him completely unique with that one mechanic all on its own. People will just complain about Talon being OP purely because of his ability to hop over.

He's going to R>E the hell out of people. They won't even see him hop over that wall until a thousand and one blades stab them in the back.

WHICH IS EPIC! But still.

Pretty sure his E cancels his Ulti

Every class update so far has had that one rework that ended up being utterly broken. Talons E pretty much makes me think he's gonna be the one this go around. That wall jump is endlessly useful, will make him maneuver around the jungle quicker and more terrifying than any other champion. I'm just picturing him appearing from the jungle Qing someone doing his full burst and using his now complete invisibility and/or flash to get out before most can react.

Truly terrifying. I could be wrong of course, it's not like I'm a game designer or anything. But I will not be surprised if Talon skyrockets up the winrate.

Yep. I mean, I can see it being balanced, but just the play style in general will cause salt for a lot of people. Especially none tanky junglers.

Here's the best part: Poacher's Dirk encourages jg invades, so Talon will see success in the jg messing with the enemy jungler. Scary, really.

I've actually been think that it'll be Leblanc or Katarina.

They might be, but, I'm sticking with Talon because those two can't use the new assassin items. And if there's one thing we learned from Malz it's spell shields are kind of ridiculous if you are smart enough to set them up. And so, of course we see the new assassin items give them a spell shield, and Talon will better be able to use the new Duskblade; being AD and all.

Unparalleled movement, invisibility that can't be countered, and two new items that seem specifically designed to either guard against a weakness or make his burst even deadlier makes me think Talon is going to be scary.

Which isn't to say I'm particularly smart about this stuff. I didn't see how scary the Morde rework was. I did call Malzahar, but, literally everyone said new Malz was going to be a pain in the ass to balance.

Katarina can actually opt for an AD build now. She has AD scalings on everything as opposed to just her W and Ulti like live.

I think Leblanc will be the kind of champ where everyone says she is underpowered, because they can't use her to her full potential, then riot buffs her and then people realize that she was actually op all this time :p

Talon's winrate will actually plummet when ti goes live by virtue of more poeple playing him. Talon currently has a high winrate because he i a champ that only dedicated mains play. The increase of players on top of the fact that they wont have any clue what they are doing will make it go down A LOT.

Eh, the really overpowered guys tend to shoot up pretty fast. Mordekaiser, Graves, Malzahar all shot up to highest winrate within two weeks of their reworks. At least in Gold or higher.
