So will Talon be getting his splashes/skins updated and/or a new >975 skin with his update? Im sure I saw somewhere that Riot felt Talon/Talon players deserved a >975 skin, but somewhat shortly thereafter SSW Talon came out, and it was loose phrasing to begin with. TL;DR, will Talon change/get anything new/upgraded cosmetically with his update?
He will be getting ALL new SFX and VFX and all new icons. Also a few new animations
The group updates are mainly going to change the gameplay of the assassins.
During the mage update we had Malzahar and Zyra getting small texture updates(but only for their classic skins),so something like that might be possible,but not very likely. And Talons splash art will likely stay the same as long as he doesn't get a design-changing texture update.
I doubt that Talon will get a skin immediatly after the assassin-rework,they likely want to wait some time to look if the rework was a success or not. (Mordes rework for example was considered a failure,he is now on the list for big updates and unable to get a skin until then).
As far as we know he's not getting a Visual Update to his models. He's getting new VFX (and SFX too I think).
New splashes for him we don't know of, but you never know, they might surprise us.
It's a Roster Update not a full Champion Update, so if anything only the base splash would be updated if they chose to do so.
