Teemo is a high-ranked member of a regular army in an independent state
Whatever it is what he does, it is not Guerrilla Warfare.
I beg story team to influence update team to come up with a name for Teemo's passive that actually fits.

What are you talking about. Special forces are also part of the military and they most certainly conduct asymmetric warfare.
It might be language issue, but I'm pretty convinced that "Guerrilla Warfare" doesn't refer to actions performer by regular military?
No you're correct, Guerilla Warfare by definition is non-military personnel using military tactics (often against actual military).
I thought so. Definitely not Teemo.
Guerrilla warfare is a form of irregular warfare in which a small group of combatants such as paramilitary personnel, armed civilians, or irregulars use military tactics including ambushes, sabotage, raids, petty warfare, hit-and-run tactics, and mobility to fight a larger and less-mobile traditional military. This, to me, fits teemo perfectly.
Teemo is neither paramilitary personnel, armed civilian or irregular. He is member of regular army in captain rank.

In lore, he likes scouting and doing recon missions alone.
If he's a scout with a Captain rank, I can see him leading a small squad (if not solo) and conducting recon and a few hit and run tactics
I would assume that since he is part of special forces he has the ability to make calls that isn't traditional military movement or protocol.
That's the thing, all that stuff can be done by regular military personnel, and it doesn't make them guerrillas.
Technically the correct term would be "special operations" or "special reconnaissance" force.
But, LoL never really paid anything more than lip service to military stuff, so it seems strange to get tied up over this specific instance of the writers using the word that sounds cool as opposed to the correct one. Especially since, I know for a fact various special operations forces (such as the Navy Seals) have referred to themselves as using guerrilla operations. Is this still technically wrong? Yes. But, I'm not going to go correcting them on pedantic definitions when they're off kicking ass and whatnot.

squints Are you the guy who actually studied weaponry and battle tactics through the eras?
Or was that someone else?
I am a guy who studied weaponry and battle tactics through the eras. I am not sure if I am the guy who studied weaponry and battle tactics through the eras.
Though in truth my expertise is more focused on the developments in ancient to medieval Europe and the Middle East. I know a bit of stuff from other continents and eras, but not nearly as well as what my focus is in.
Except, excluding the thing about Guerilla Warfare being done by non-army soldiers, it fits.
That's kind of the most important part.
