I recall in both lores him being the reason Soraka gets Lucifer'd through extremely messed up circumstances.

Well, Warwick may work for Singed. Considering Singed probably has aspirations of being free to do his research and/or become a Chem-Baron (if he's not already one) of Zaun, then it only makes sense that he would send Warwick out to eliminate his enemies.

Perhaps leaders are less likely to notice (or investigate) criminals disappearing or being killed. If so, they would be convenient targets.

For me it looks like Singed hired them to capture WW for him after he destroyed his lab.
