Possible Void backstory hints in Illaoi's dialouge?

"Ugly thing. You weren't designed by god, you were made by fools."

Illaoi says this to Rek'Sai in a taunt. And as we know, Rek'Sai is from the Void, a realm that we have little to no knowledge of whatsoever. We do know that the Void has spawned many abominations such as the likes of Cho'Gath, Kha'Zix, and Vel'Koz. But this quote might imply that the Voidborn are not created by the Gods, but rather something or someone. This may also tie in to Kog'Maw's quote about his "daddy." Could it be that Kog'Maw's so called father did not birth him naturally as a normal creature does, but rather created him, and many of the other Voidborn falsely? And if so, who or what did it? Will we ever get to see this mystery creature who is creating abominations to unleash on the land?
