Is Taric going to be part of the Targon lore?

It's been heavily hinted in quotes from both Poppy and Aurelion Sol, and most people agree. And I also agree that it'll be awesome if they keep him as an alien dude! I'm not entirely fond of how they've been forcing champions into factions as of late (E.g: Nasus, Renekton and Xerath) so it'll be good to keep an outsider :P
